A town built off of tourism, Zermatt has a magnificent view of the Matterhorn. It is small, but it does have a place for a few Swiss stores selling the legendary Swiss knives and watches. It was also where will and Beau took their first real paragliding flight!

Wangen, the inspiration for Rivendell in the "Lord of the Rings", this is a view of wonder. It is like Yosemite national park in California, but in the Alps, the best view in Switzerland at least. I see Why J.R. Tolkien use this for his thought of Rivendell.
Bern, the capitol of Switzerland is like Most big cities, both good and bad parts. But, it does have the oldest, still running mechanical clocks dating back to the early 13th century. It is a true wonder!
